Surround Yourself With Positivity
When you fill your surroundings with more positive things and people, you will in turn be a more positive person. Try reading inspirational quotes, looking at fun projects on Pinterest, or watching cute animal videos (I will take any excuse to watch cute animal vids!).
Go Out and Do Something!
Sometimes it is good to take a break and stay indoors, but it is not good if you find yourself doing that more often than not. Boost your positivity by going for a walk through a park or beach, walking through a new-to-you city, or go on a coffee (or tea!) date with a friend.
Delete the Facebook App From Your Phone
Deleting my Facebook app helped me to be so much more positive. I found that everyone I knew was posting evil hateful things or arguing about politics, I could not take it anymore. In place of your Facebook app, you can download an app for organization or a cute game (my personal fav is Neko Atsume). If I do get Facebook again, I am going to sort through and hide people from my timeline.
Write Yourself Notes
Sometimes when I am feeling super stressed I write myself little motivational notes to keep me going and in a good mood. I feel like I get so much more accomplished when I am in a decent mood. I also find it super helpful to write myself reminders and to do lists. If you feel organized, you will be less stressed. Besides, who does not love checking off a task?
Treat Yo Self
My favorite of the list. It is great to work hard and accomplish things, but sometimes you need a break. Treat yourself to some sushi, that awesome Funko Pop figurine you have been eyeing (Sailor Moon ones are out now!), or a fresh new hair cut. You deserve it!
